There are some excellent examples in this clip of how the director has used and developed thriller conventions, particularly with lighting, camera angles, locations and props and character types. You need to explain how and why the director uses, develops or challenges generic conventions in this clip. Think about the way you are analysing generic aspects of mise-en-scene in screen shots from the opening to “Essex Boys”.
